doing a few household chores today, the Christmas tree rebuild for this year being most important. And for a change, I DIDN'T use more than a couple swear words when putting on the lights!!! That's a win any day!

Hi back Image

All is well, a bit chilly. Got my tree moved into place, wrapped some prezzie's, dusted the lower level of house and will vacuum right before the family comes to Christmas Eve dinner!

I don't need to do anything to my tree but roll it into place each year as it stays decorated and the lights are built in. The thing even turns automatically in a circle and I got it free one year out on the road!

hmm, that story sounds familiar; ain't that the way you first got your Mopper? Seems I've heard SHE revolves all on her own too...heh heh

Good on ya, lil Queenie; you're hard to beat when it comes to bargain basement steals!! Your ingenuity is inspiring!!

ha, funny story; growing up, I NEVER even said the D word let along swore. Family didn't, so I wasn't exposed until high school (there abouts). Then, maybe a little. Since being married to mrsBroken, well...let's just say my vocabulary got enhanced, shall we?

Seriously, am surprised how quickly now I resort to such when something goes wrong. I suppose tis just venting it out but still...am not proud of it, all the same, but over time, what USED to be anti-social has sure become everyday usage for just about everyone I meet these days. Like swearing isn't what it used to be. And I think that's expected; if you overuse a word and 'normalize' it, well, it sort of loses all it's thunder, you know?

And I'll also put this bad habit down to getting older and 'just not caring' as much. Yeah, I know, sad sad sad!
