I actually bought 2 sun hats this year but couldn't stand to wear either one

I got a few of those wide brim Serengeti type hats I wear sometimes when out walking to keep the sun outta my face. Have a few ball caps too that work. We've started going walking together for a couple hours in the early evening and the sun is straight in our eyes so hats come in handy. Would not wear a bonnet type or that kooky umbrella hats..........uh uh, no way

"Cooled down" here to 89 today. Sun in the morning, now (6pm) thunder, lightning, gusty wind, and rain. My rain gauge says 3/4" in the past hour.

I think we had Fla weather today, though without the rain (so far; due tomorrow/Monday) but we definitely had the heat and humidity! Wasn't as bad as you had, Sarah, but close! Does the weather ever get nice there? Like in the low 70s even 60s? I doubt you ever lose your humidity, though, right?
