so, what did I do today? Spent a miserable 6 hours or so trying to make security cams work. And with little to no literature re trouble shooting. Even managed to go from 6 of 13 cams working to ZERO cams working. How's that for proficiency??? Sheesh. I'm about to give up; there is no way this should be so darn difficult. And the most annoying thing is, every time I DO find some vid/article, they all end with 'and the camera feeds automatically connect'. Yeah, right. Like HAYELL they do!! No phone support anymore as the company is out of business and the couple 'tools' I found did zilch.

Yeah, April Fool today was ME!. I wish it was ONLY a joke! And the sad thing is, or maybe I should see it as a small victory, is that FINALLY, my DIY UW housing doesn't LEAK! 2 weeks submerged, zero water inside. Now, if only I had a working camera....sigh.

@ZenQueen That's mainly why we go to Costco, for the goodies. We do buy some stuff but never have our cart full like some I see! Get all our prescriptions there and w/our insurance it turns out they are always free. I try to buy stuff there when it's on sale mostly.

So today I did more frog pond work. Took out some big rocks I had in there as once the pond is full and the algae grows you can't even see them. Will just keep it smooth linered. Now I gotta sit and separate all the Anacharis, Parrots Feather etc. from more duckweed in bins. No plants left in the frog pond now except for the Water lilies. Once I get all the duckweed apart from the other plants I will put the plants back in minus duckweed. This is a real chore!

Sorry you haven't been feeling well and hope you continue to get better soon. I never go to T.Joe's, guess it's just not my thing. Maybe you eat more healthy than I do....................uh no maybe's about it

So, we have an update; got some friendly help from an Ip cam forum, from someone who actually knew something, and spent the better part of last night and early morning fixing all the cams. All but one, which stubbornly refuses to boot up. I knew I had to reset the cameras as I didn't have the correct username or password or both, but thought it was software oriented because I took the cam apart and saw zilch to reset. Spent a frustrating couple of days doing this and was about to just buy a cheap security cam from Walmart when I thought to check the Ip camtalk forum just in case someone had come back and addressed the problem. And someone gave me assurance that the reset switch WAS behind the front lens portion. I'd already looked twice but well, the guy seemed pretty sure so I did it again. Took it apart, looked, saw nothing again, took pics to SHOW the guy I had NO RED reset switch when all of a sudden, I saw this little black button, about 1/8" long by 1/16" wide, JUST BELOW the circuit board. Didn't think to look there as there's hardly any space short of actually taking that apart (which I wasn't going to do; I wasn't asking for trouble, ya know?). So, pushed it while the cam was powered up, counted to 10 (actually, I doubled that just in case!), re-assembled the cam, hooked it back up, voila! VIDEO! Did this to every cam, sometimes twice, and was up until 4 a.m. just so I could sleep not thinking about it! Might have to see about the one recalcitrant cam but not going to stress if one doesn't work. Now I can continue the UW setup, and just in time as next weekend, the tent comes down! Got 60s on the horizon, so should be good to go!
