Re: Watcha doing today?
Went to Costco today, almost no more mask day starting tomorrow here. We don't wear them anyways, never have except when they yell at us. Bought some yummy chocolate salted caramels on sale and boy they sure had a bunch of give away samples today. Not even hungry now for lunch. Got our rewards check from them too and it paid for all we bought today there. Over $200 bucks of stuff! They had my favorite Tumeric on sale too! 1500mgs per 2 pill serving. Got my yummy turkey pepperoni sticks from Walmart too! No walk today, but drove by the free shack, nothing worth looking at today. No rain yet but it's on the way!

Re: Watcha doing today?
teasing mrsbrokensword with a part of what I edited today;
Of course it did; the idea threw itself back at him with a vengeance. This wasn’t some innocent excursion, some inconsequential action where no one understood they’d get hurt because they were young and dumb. No, neither of them were. And both had enough life lived to understand this.
Why was he over-analyzing? Certainly he knew what his heart wanted...and his head was almost there...
“It’s a choice, fer sure, laddie.”
Graham froze even more than he thought he already had. His eyes wanted to close, to make it all go away like a bad dream but he couldn’t look away from the woman outside, waiting in the cold, hoping like he to nurture an emberring fire. And it was this that saved him. Or so he’d say if asked.
“It’s begun, then?”
The question hung, like a song lyric, low and heavy, hardly moving. But Graham felt his fingers starting to let go.
“You knew when you saw the owl.”
To which the voice in the dark just grunted. In affirmation? Graham wasn’t sure.
“You going to stop me?”
As if he needed to actually ask the question. Of course the shoppe owner was going to...
“Not my life, cara maith.”
That surprised the scar-faced man and it helped stop him from releasing his grip. As a matter of fact, the other hand was now reaching to put the bowler back on his head. Raddy had called him ‘good friend’. But was it deserved?
“So it’s begun.”
This time, there was only surety in the old man’s Irish brogue.
Time felt stopped but as he continued to stare at the figure outside, Graham knew it was probably really going faster. The silence was relentless, enough that he soon heard his own breath against the cold glass of the door. Time, moving faster...as if he didn’t know what that meant. Yes, it’s begun.

Re: Watcha doing today?
had a challenging game day with mrsbrokensword playing Scribbage and this was one of my 'better' rolls; the object is to spill 13 dice and with the resulting letters, form words in a crossword-fashion (less the diagonals or backwards). Then total the dice vertically + horizontally. Could hardly believe the score with this one! Hence, the pic as evidence because as you know--pics or it didn't happen!!
