Re: Watcha doing today?
been working on a picture book for my granddaughter, Mabel; gonna be longer than first thought (what else is new!) and graphic heavy! This is my typical week off before leaf season, so keeping busy! A lot of my gif nonsense is coming in handy, that's for sure! Been having a lot of nice Indian Summer weather (again!) and you just know when I start in on leaves, the temps will plummet!
Re: Watcha doing today?
Have fun and bet Mabel will love it! I'm enjoying reading your book you posted on here too!brokensword wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 11:01 pm been working on a picture book for my granddaughter, Mabel; gonna be longer than first thought (what else is new!) and graphic heavy! We have so many leaves on the ground here right now! Need to mow them all up but rains have set in now w/cold temps. Big winds coming tonight!

supposed to get real windy tomorrow; should knock down most of the rest of the leaves, so I could get an early start (in the warm instead of typical cold!) earlier this week! Hope so, at least.
I'll post up some of the pages/art when I get them more finished, for any who are interested. Still early on, currently.
Thanks again for reading my latest; very nice of you to give me some feedback!

Re: Watcha doing today?
Didn't get to read more of your book last night as we lost power just after 9pm. Bad rain/wind storm. Power did not come on till around 1pm today. Internet, phone and cable tv didn't come back till around 3pm. Another hit tonight but hope we don't lose power again!brokensword wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 3:45 amj.w wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 11:17 pmHave fun and bet Mabel will love it! Re: Watcha doing today?
I still post there some but not much like I used to. Kinda lost interest for the most part there. Mostly just greet the new people and post some to others. Don't think Broken posts there at all. I see Ruby there too.Gemma wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 11:42 amI didn't know you guys still posted there (I do miss Tula) I can't keep up with both sites and I would choose a small group over a large one any timej.w wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 10:02 pmI saw you on thereGemma wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 9:12 pm So I open the page and thought right away something was different...oh well I clicked to answer a post, and after looking around decided I wasn't going to add smileys since the editor seemed so unfamiliar I was disoriented...and then I realized I wasn't on here, I was on the old GPF

Think we will be ok tonight. They did mention snow possible in a day or so...........huh, that's nuts! I doubt that will happen!brokensword wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 1:13 ambeen there done that; we don't even SAY that word anymore so as not to get any jinxes! Re: Watcha doing today?
Sheesh; they're not even calling for snow HERE let alone the PNW should get it...sure has been a topsy turvy weather season! Apparently, the other day, we almost reached a record High for the day, missed it by 2F. I think the day topped out at 76F, so you know that's warm for this time of year, this part of the Kingdom! Hey! Don't go putting any 'oil the snow shovel' on MY to-do list tonight!! Get that mopper squire, one @Gemma gal to prep the winter resources fer ya ifn ya REALLY thinks the white stuff is gonna fall on yer precious Annex!!j.w wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 2:33 amThink we will be ok tonight. Re: Watcha doing today?
Oh sheesh, we did get some snow this early morning but it was really big flakes and only lasted for a short while. Did put a coating of white on our nearby mountain that we can see out our back door but that's almost all melted now too. So get your shovel oiled up Kingy Boy! Looks like we could be in for a real chiller this year on the Royal groundsbrokensword wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 3:23 amSheesh; they're not even calling for snow HERE let alone the PNW should get it...sure has been a topsy turvy weather season!
