You may want to call a repair guy and ask which ones they think are better than average. Having an icemaker of some sort is helpful for house resale value (per my former realtor). My brother's Samsung has worked fine for 6 years, but that's a "point in time" reference.
If the place that sells you a new fridge doesn't haul the old away free, many electric utility companies will take your old, but working, fridge away, and sometimes they'll rebate you with $50.
I promise I'll never watch the (hacked) TouTube videos of the inside of your Internet connected refrigerator.
Fridge is still sitting there w/no help yet from SIL. The neighbor is an electrician also so will ask him to test the relay thing as we had that same problem w/it in 2005 and replaced it and it was fine till now. That switch just plugs in and is easy to replace and is only $15 on Amazon.
Now if it's the compressor than have to start the hunt for a new one. We are getting used to walking out to the garage every time we need something tho

LOL not getting an internet fridge..............not that I don't trust you all :smirkysmirk:
dayum; I'm pretty sure Sarah had 'movie' night all lined up to YOUR channel, next month! The CAstle inhabitants are gonna be disappointed...to say the least!!

  :beaming:
Maybe they can tune in using your wife's new car :beaming:

Hello Image

I really wanted to work in the garden today, but the sun disappeared on me... it is getting dark and it will probably rain soon so instead of working I'm gonna sit here and read what you guys have been up all week/monthImage

oh my gosh! You shoulda seen all that lil queenie has been up to! Why, we had a CAstle insurrection where all the koi revolted, er, maybe that was 'all the koi were revolting' cuz SOMEONE (not naming names here, mind you!) didn't close the paddock the LAST time she went riding...then we had a frog spawn invasion, and yep, you guessed, again, something was left open and well, in they all came! Smothered the chocolate pantry just trying to break all them locks I was forced to put on it...then, there was the infamous CRAWDAD debacle...oh, the carnage. Shoulda seen it but no, I was 'coerced' into burning the negatives to all the video of THAT incident but be it known, our own lil Queenie was involved in THAT fiasco, too. Something about 'all day looking for crawdads and coming up empty'; yeah right; shoulda seen the mess they all (wink, wink) left in the foyer after SOMEONE dropped the bucket and splashed them all out! Ever seen crawdads try to crawl on NEWLY WAXED CAstle FLOORS???? It ain't pretty, especially since royalty wouldn't help and I was summoned from my OTHER mundane chores to cover the whole incident up! You'll never hear it reported on any MSM in this day and age, no siree; it doesn't fit the narrative, you understand!

And lastly, we had a computer snafu wherein the Imperial Network of Koi (INK for short) was hacked and the result is, now lil queenie can't 'steal' gifs like she used to! I know, I know, a horrendous outcome but well, all good things come to an end, you know! Now, only us peons can drag and drop gifs (apparently) to our desktops for nefarious reasons!! Oh the outrage! I've still got duct tape on my Annex door so I don't hear the alternating bouts of sobbing and frustration coming from on high... :smirkysmirk:

Oh the inhumanity, slander and chaotic fictional pointing fingers of fate that ye bring to the royal table Kingy Boy! There shall be no invite to the Queens birthday table tonight for you! Had a royal bash at the local eatery and then a stroll through the wooded grounds near the river through the valleys and ore the plains! Then it was "Let them eat cake" time for all the high ups and peasants! All had a grand time tonight! Too bad you were chained in the corner w/a bib in a high chair eating your curds and whey!

@Gemma sorry you couldn't make it w/that awful stinger deal going on and hope you feel better soon!

Didn't you get the memo? I put all the details in my report... took me forever to write it...what happened to it?

So...I went to visit a friend and was gifted some plants, apparently the Bees didn't know about it and thought I was stealingImage

Many years ago, a good friend and I decided that the "use by" date on yogurt really should include the year, not just month/day. I don't think an Internet connected fridge will help with that, do you?

yikes! I'd normally say 'pics, or it didn't happen' but well, can't do that in THIS case, can I???? Hope it's better now and didn't slow your stride too much! Mine was hard to work with the next day as it was near my wrist!
