@Gemma Colleen on GPF used to use her cell phone in a jar and lower it down into the water and got some good shots I remember.
How do you click the button to take the shot?
She does all video's so just turns it on and leaves it down there awhile and then drags it up.
You could tie a rope to it also and move it around slowly to see the spots you want to in the pond.
I wonder if my hubby would allow me to do a test w/his cellphone as I don't have one.
I am betting he won't
you just march him onto the comp, set him down, have him read how MUCH WE WANT TO SEE UW pics of your FISH!!!!!!!
And of course, let him know something tasty will be coming out of the oven with his name all over it, hey?

LOL I make videos all the time! too bad after uploading the first one on GPF, I forgot how to...I'm technologically challenged, can't retain what I learn to save my life
Gemma; vids are pretty easy, actually. You need a Youtube account and upload to there. Then, your vid will have an address (url). You copy this, then at the top of the dialog window, there's 'youtubehs' button. When you click it, it will give you a cursor in the middle of two handles. You c/p your vid url into this THEN take out everything but the actual ID. All the 'http' stuff; just keep the ID. I have a vid how to in the Welcome forum, if you need a visual.
But, very easy.
And you could probably take static shots IF your phone has some sort of timer on it like most cams do. You'd set the timer, then lower the phone below the water. Make sure your phone IS waterproof, though! We ain't got money in the budget (lil Queenie tends to allocate more for the chocolate pantry than any other line item!!) to replace your phone if you end up with a pond INSIDE yer phone, don'tcha know!!

Beautiful day today! I got some long overdue pruning done around the yard, took the tricolor Hibiscus out the greenhouse, trimmed the roots, repotted it in new potting mix, pruned the top and now it will be good to go for another season. I potted the grape vine, and the Fig tree I just bought. I really don't know where I want them so for now they can stay in the pot
I'm glad I got all my energy back cause I'm gonna need it...now how do I stop these coughing spells, so I don't risk spitting out a tonsil?

You have been busy, weather must be ok there.
Nothing getting done around here. Too wet and cold..............well except I always check the tubs of plants and the frog pond for any signs of the dang duckweed everyday. That is a must!
Wow you still have tonsils? I lost mine at around 3 as my mother drug me to a baby contest and I had a fit and got all hot and spilled my guts! Had to rush me to the doc's to get mine out fast!
She never took me to another one of those gigs thank Heavens!

I wonder why doctors are so eager to remove them from kids, aren't they part of the system that fights infections?

I think they are but I was having convulsions and mine was so bad I guess they had to come out! I'm hardly ever sick so it didn't seem to effect me throughout my life.

I hear ya; my cough lasted almost 2 weeks. At first, I was stalwart, was NOT going to make it easy to claim me, then after four days, I said 'heck with that!' and just coughed until I couldn't! Lungs, kidneys, an arm once...all got coughed up and annoyed the hell out of me! My first day back at work, I coughed a lot and wasn't a happy camper! You'll get there, just give in and don't be a martyr, hey Gemma?

Is it the only pair they removed? I mean do you still have the pair up your nose (forgot what they're called)?
I hardly get sick myself, that's why I'm so out of practice

You mean "don't be a wuss"? I didn't take time off work, like some people
