I'm hoping to find a place where I know someone
...what made you stop gardening if you don't mind me asking? Image
Hey, Gemma; early on, someone asked about starting a garden forum (attached to the pond forum) and I figured we'd wait until there was some interest. Ah, be ye that interest?? I can whip up something for you if you want, just let me know. Still not many regulars here, but I don't mind doing this for you. I'm a gardener (flowers, not veggies) and usually have lots of pics, I have some knowledge re 'gardening' but am not an expert even if I play one on TV! Just let me know...

:D :D ;)
That would be so awesome!
I was debating whether or not to even ask about a gardening forum on here, I'm glad I did!
Up until now I did mostly flowers as well, but as I said above I'm working on a project that involves lots of veggies and fruit.
Speaking of pics, is there a limit on how many pics one can upload?
I would be very thankful and participate, if you took the time to set up this board Image
you're in business, @Gemma ! Have at it and tell anyone you know who's a gardener that wants to chit chat and ask questions about GardenLife!

:-P  :D

Think we have a domestic rabbit living on our property under our wood shed. Just seems like the color is wrong for a wild one. A very pretty honey color it is! What do ya think?

I dunno, looks like a wild rabbit to me. But, I'm no rabbit expert, so...

Hmmmmmmmmm, I think it may be a cross between a wild and a domestic.
The rabbit sites online say this is what a typical wild color would be:

and this color on these domestic ones is more like the one in our yard:

looks like you may be right! How close can you get to it? Could you make it a pet if you wanted to? Or at least, are you feeding it? Today, while weeding around the trees, came across a bunny nest; had to have been in the last couple days as they hardly had fur. I don't like them in my yard (they are part of why I don't have some plant tips/buds!!) but I'm a live and let live kind of guy. Glad they were still very young and not older else they'd have been scampering all over the yard, probably prematurely and can 't have that. It's one of the WORST times in my work season; having to look out for baby rabbits while mowing lawns.

Got in another 5 hours weeding, making progress, and expect to have a day off tomorrow due to what looks like a day of rain. Going to double up my Wednesday but at least the grass isn't going crazy yet. Weather was similar to yesterday, maybe a bit warmer but no sun.

@brokensword not doing anything w/it just letting it feed on whatever it wants like the wild ones do. It's been around for awhile now and I see it out there nibbling. Then yesterday I noticed 2 tiny babies hopping around the woodshed. I love watching them. Ate a whole bowl of popcorn standing at the window watching them. Better than any tv shows nowadays! Can't get a good photo of them tho as my cam does not have a good close up zoom.

I am careful also when mowing. Always on the lookout for critters!

Good on ya getting more weeds executed!

Hubby talked yesterday w/the car guys about our car and might be ready today, yay! The tire people couldn't get a hold of the shop guy that was supposed to come get the tires when they were ready so they called us and we called the shop guy. He answered right away. Think the tire guy had a cell # for one of the workers.
Just a slight hold up. They had a mechanic at the shop get in a motorcycle wreck and he broke his collar bone so he can't work. I saw online that they were looking for workers to join their crew. Guess circumstances today are effecting businesses like never before.

No rain just clouds, wish there was sun but I'll take whatever as long as no rain!
