Just got back from a nice dry ride and sun was out all the way. Now the clouds are rolling in for the expected rain.

we had some sun, cooler temps in the mid 40s. Weak as heck, still coughing, but had to get out and fix up the lawn equipment for next week start. Going on 10 days for me and T is still dealing with sinus infection, so the brokensword household is down but crawling their way toward the light! Sure was missing the couple 60s and one 70 we had LAST week!

Not sure I will be able to post much today either. The internet is slow and stops now and then and tv keeps going out so they must still be working around here. Very frustrating but I will try to be patient.

I picture you like this most of the time.
You got a lot going on in that head of yours but not sure if that is good or bad 8-)

right now, that 'lot going on in my head' is all phlegm! So far, lost 10 lbs and I bet most of the weight was THAT! I know, I know, disgusting...you should be glad you're not HERE! :o

@brokensword oh ugh on all that crap in your lungs and you both still feeling poorly. Wow 10lbs is a bunch for just a cold. Maybe the flu? I know you said it's not covid so that's good.
I might want to be there tho if I could lose 10 lbs 8-)

I finally found a few minutes to stop by and read around Image
Spring is always the busiest time for me, we usually have a big project going on outside and this year is no different. We are finishing the greenhouse we started last year, and we are also building a raised bed garden and mini orchard...so much work but so much fun too
By any chance any of you run a gardening forum? The one tied to the other pond forum is great, but because most members are overseas, it's too hard to relate especially the difference in the plant names

@Gemma I used to garden a lot but kind of got out of it now. When I was really into it I joined GardenWeb but haven't been there in ages.

Maybe that will help you

Hey, Gemma; early on, someone asked about starting a garden forum (attached to the pond forum) and I figured we'd wait until there was some interest. Ah, be ye that interest?? I can whip up something for you if you want, just let me know. Still not many regulars here, but I don't mind doing this for you. I'm a gardener (flowers, not veggies) and usually have lots of pics, I have some knowledge re 'gardening' but am not an expert even if I play one on TV! Just let me know...

That would be so awesome!
I was debating whether or not to even ask about a gardening forum on here, I'm glad I did!
Up until now I did mostly flowers as well, but as I said above I'm working on a project that involves lots of veggies and fruit.
Speaking of pics, is there a limit on how many pics one can upload?
I would be very thankful and participate, if you took the time to set up this board Image

@Gemma Guess as I got older I got tired of slaving away out there. The grass and weeds getting in there was a pain. Plus the last big veggie garden I made the deer came in and demolished it all. I didn't want to have to build a fence all around it either. Now I just manage what I have left. The only veggies I do now is sometimes tomatoes in the greenhouse and I do have an asparagus garden for my hubby. I don't like the stuff but he loves it. Oh and also the volunteer garlic that comes up in the asparagus garden each year. We have a plum tree and a peach tree too.

I do have some plants, bushes and trees in garden beds.

I might pop in to a garden one on here tho just for fun
